Shannon Rupe Bio

Shannon has a passion for business aviation and actively engages with aviation organizations to drive innovation and improve processes. Her specializations in business aviation include financial budgeting and planning, executive communications, operational metrics reporting and presentations, in-house international handling execution and technical travel logistics coordinator for worldwide air travel. 

Shannon has held various roles in corporate and private flight departments, and aviation and technology start-ups. She has held positions as Flight Scheduling & Dispatch Manager, Flight Operations Manager, Travel Security Coordinator and Project Manager, Customer Success Manager and Implementation Manager. 

She has managed a variety of flight operations including several aviation start-ups, single-owner aircraft operations and large IS-BAO Stage III corporate flight departments. Shannon demonstrates a proven track record to understand customer needs, define clear expectations and deliver results. She has worked with several Fortune 500 companies and successfully led projects spanning many company department verticals.

Working alongside executives, directors and senior managers, Shannon has defined and driven strategic business goals, defined policy, including aviation allocation and cross-charge programs, and improved organizational design and defined financial operating budgets. She has worked with individual contributors to coordinate executive travel to high-risk areas alongside executive protection and security teams. She has also maintained flight operations documentation, and acted as an authorized signatory to support federal CBP, DHS and TSA programs. 

Shannon graduated magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale’s Aviation Management and Flight program. She is a Certified Flight Instructor, FAA-licensed Aircraft Dispatcher and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
