Mike DelMastro Bio
Michael has over 30 years of leadership experience including positions in aircraft manufacturing, flight
test, organizational consulting, corporate flight operations management and corporate program
management. He has worked in various roles for Kaman Aerospace, AMR Corp and Merck Sharp &
Dohme Corp. During his 25-year career at Merck he led international corporate aviation operations, $300
million in annual global energy spend, and $300 million in annual global car fleet spend. In the corporate
flight department, he led a team of over forty aviation professionals operating Beechcraft, Falcon &
Gulfstream airplanes and Sikorsky S76 helicopters.
Michael retired from Merck in July of 2020 and has begun to utilize his education, training and experience
to provide aviation industry leaders with advice and counsel on operations, maintenance best practices and
asset management. He enjoys managing large completions and refurbishment projects.
A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Tennessee with BS and MBA
respectively, he holds FAA Instrument Pilot SEL&S, Airframe & Powerplant and Inspection Authorization
licenses. He enjoys the outdoors including flying, sailing, skiing, hiking, and motorcycle riding.
